Italo-Australian Cycling Club (Italo CC)
The Italo-Australian Cycling Club (Italo CC) is a community-based cycling club located in Melbourne's inner north, fostering a culture of cycling excellence among competitive and social riders across various disciplines including road, track, gravel and e-sport (Zwift). Our weekly bunch rides* start from the corner of Michael Street and Queens Parade, Fitzroy North. Click here for more details.
In addition, we offer coaching services to riders who want to improve their skills and compete at higher levels.
*As a guide, our group rides are suitable for experienced bunch riders (mostly Masters). We take a variety of routes, covering 60kms to 80kms with 600-1000 meters of climbing. We generally return with an average speed for the ride of 25-28kph. While we like to stick together as a group, some riders may like to push a bit harder up a climb, while others may prefer a more measured ascent. Our group rides are not "no-drop" rides, therefore all riders must be self-sufficient e.g. food, drink, able to repair a flat tyre and find their way home etc. If you plan to only ride part of the route or want to take it easy after a climb, the etiquette is to let someone in the bunch know your plans. All riders should be familiar with "bunch etiquette". Please take the time to read the information below kindly provided by the Sydney Cycling Club.
