A Metre Matters laws will be effective in Victoria from Monday 26, April.

This morning the Hon. Ben Carroll MP, Victoria’s Minister for Roads and Road Safety, to announce #AMetreMatters laws will be effective in Victoria from Monday 26, April.  This update to Victorian road rules will make a real difference for cyclist safety in Victoria. This change means that every single State and Territory has lifesaving #AMetreMatters road rules in place.  A Metre Matters road rules mean it’s the law to give safe space around every person, riding every kind of bike on every road (you can ride on) in Australia.  This is a historic day!  Source: Amy Gillet Foundation
